Quantity versus quality in social networks
Today, many believe that popularity is a sign of status or prestige in social networks. And perhaps in some cases it is.
From my point of view, I think is a mistake to consider the matter from that approach. And like a page, if that traffic does not convert, is useless.
We have many supporters, but if those followers or contacts ever visit our blog or page where we offer our services will be like an ornament, but will not make sense our presence in social networks.
As in the blogs, we need to focus. What good is that I continue housewives 10,000 if my job is to offer courses for engineers and programmers?
We need to increase the conversion rate of our contacts (and interested visitors to our sites) and that our followers are linked directly with the aim that we have to participate in social networks.
But first of all, we must be clear: what we in social networks?:
to keep in touch with friends and family,
to meet people to go out on weekends or find a partner,
to increase our reputation and prestige,
for fun or training,
to find potential customers or make business contacts or
to find and share good information.
Depending on our objective, which must be clear from the outset, we will make appropriate actions to orient toward the profiles or people they need association.
And I repeat the amount is not synonymous with success, but if the quality of their contacts and relationships in different social settings. What do you think? What do you think of the article?
